Architecture

I studied architectural design in college and still find buildings to be fascinating. While I no longer design buildings (real or fictitious), I do still find ways to engage my creative architecture ideas – namely through finding new or interesting buildings to photograph. On the other hand, I occasionally find myself visiting old and abandoned buildings/sites to see how quickly man-made structures can be taken back by nature.

Movie Review: Eden Log

Eden Log PosterWaking up in a pool of mud, Eden Log takes the viewer on a video game like trip through a multi-level, underground compound built around a tree’s root structure. Darkly lit caverns with dripping water, mutated creatures and a company cover-up don’t sound like the biblical Eden, but still the movie ties back to the evolution of man with the same metaphorical approach.
